How does online learning work?
Students will attend classes via GoogleMeet. Books and assignments are uploaded onto Google Classroom for students to gain access. In addition, learning support will be provided to students based on their academic needs.
At Jireh, all teachers are highly trained to ensure that classes are interactive and engaging. Furthermore, the flexibility of the timetable allows for students to have adequate rest before the next class begins.
How do you ensure the quality of education through online learning?
Allow us to pose the same question. How sure are we that our students are receiving the best quality of education in a physical classroom? How do we know what learning goes on within a physical classroom?
Here at Jireh, we offer a holistic approach to learning where transparency between teachers, parents and students will be ensured. All classes will be recorded and uploaded onto Google classroom so that parents/guardians and students will have access to class recordings after class hours. This intentional teaching strategy is done to provide a healthy communication pathway between teachers, students and parents, thus, ensuring that both students and parents receive their money's worth.
What kind of support do you offer students?
At Jireh Academy, we provide learning assistance to all students as needed, in and outside classroom hours. This is to ensure that we create a learning environment where students are able to receive the best support possible in their assignments and classroom activities.
What equipment do I need for online learning?
Students will require a proper learning space, a laptop/computer and of course strong internet connection.
The good news is, all books and science kits will be provided by Jireh Academy. That means there will no additional fee incurred for resources and books! Isn't that exciting!
How will students register for IGCSE?
Students will register for IGCSE as private candidates. Registration can be done individually or through the school. Prior to the IGCSE examination, the school will provide a detailed explanation on the registration procedures.
